What Blizzard confirmed
- The announced beta window ends October 21, 2026; access comes from selection after opting in or from an eligible Forever bundle.
- After access is granted, restart Battle.net and choose WoW Forever Beta under the launcher’s In Development game versions; entitlement can take up to 30 minutes to appear.
- The first test phase caps characters at level 20 and includes Zephras Isle, Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, and other content through level 20.
- Later phases raise the cap to 30 and add zones, dungeons, a new battleground, and a Server Slam.
Why this matters for players
Treat the beta as a staged test rather than an early launch. Check your Battle.net license before trusting any email, install the dedicated beta client, and plan feedback around the current cap and test focus. Progress and tuning may change, so do not treat beta gearing or damage results as launch-final data.
