What Blizzard confirmed
- Forever launches with nine classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior.
- Blizzard highlights Orc Mage, Troll Warlock, Undead Paladin, Human Hunter, Gnome Priest, and Dwarf Shaman as newly notable combinations.
- Windshaper Skyborne can become Shaman while High Order Skyborne can become Mage; both faction paths also support Druid, Hunter, Rogue, and Warrior.
- Racial traits have been revised, including active abilities, weapon bonuses, resource or movement utility, and several new combat effects.
Why this matters for players
Choose faction, race, and class together before committing to a character plan. Several formerly unavailable combinations are now valid, while the two Skyborne factions have different signature class access. Treat racial effects as situational inputs—not a universal DPS tier list—until Forever combat interactions can be tested reproducibly.
